Estate planning for cross-border lives.

Start with a UAE will. We look at the wider picture, so your estate plan fits the life you actually live.

UAE will

Your UAE will is the starting point. It sets out who inherits your assets, who manages your estate, and who would care for your children. For most customers it's prepared for ADJD registration, so your family has an officially recognised document to rely on.

Home-country will

If you hold property, accounts or other assets outside the UAE, a separate home-country will can help. UK wills are available now, with more jurisdictions on the way.

Power of attorney - coming soon

Soon: give someone you trust authority to act for you while you're alive - for property, banking, travel, or incapacity planning.

Vault and guidance

Keep your will, related documents and important instructions in one place. Share securely with the people who need them, and track your progress as things move forward.

The UAE Will.

A smart way to protect what you've built.

Without a will, UAE courts may decide who raises your children and what happens to your assets. A will keeps you in control - you choose who inherits, who handles things, and who looks after your kids. Your Sànset will is prepared for ADJD registration.

Common questions

I live in Dubai. Does this work for me?+

Yes. Sànset helps UAE residents create a will for ADJD or ADGM registration. Many Dubai residents go through ADJD, and the whole process can be done online without travelling to Abu Dhabi.

Is Sànset only for UAE wills?+

UAE wills are where most customers start, since that's usually the most urgent document. We also help you understand whether a home-country will makes sense; UK wills are available now, more jurisdictions are being added.

Is Sànset a law firm?+

No. Sànset is a legaltech platform, not a traditional law firm. We provide a structured online process, document preparation, review, Arabic translation and registration guidance. For highly complex or disputed situations we may recommend specialist advice.

What happens after I pay?+

You finish your details online, we prepare your draft and flag anything unclear, you review and request changes. For a UAE will the next steps usually include Arabic translation, signing, and ADJD/ADGM submission. We keep you updated throughout.

How long does it take?+

Most people finish the online questions in 10–15 minutes. After that we prepare the draft and arrange Arabic translation. Regular ADJD notarization appointments currently take around 3 months; faster options are available depending on your situation.

Is the ADJD court fee included?+

No. Sànset's fee is separate from the ADJD fee, which is paid directly to the court. Current ADJD fees are AED 950 (individual) and AED 1,900 (mirror). We show these clearly before you pay.

What if ADJD asks for a change?+

It's uncommon because the will is prepared with lawyer-drafted wording and checked before submission. If a correction is needed we help update it. If a will is rejected because of an error attributable to Sànset, we fix it at no extra cost - and refund our fee if it's still rejected after reasonable corrections.

Can I include crypto and digital accounts?+

Yes. You can include online accounts, crypto, domains and other digital property so your family knows what exists and where to find it.

What if my life changes later?+

You can update your will if your situation changes - a new child, new property, moving country, changing executors or beneficiaries. Ongoing updates are available through optional Sànset Membership.

Is my data secure?+

We use secure systems and strict access controls to protect what you share with us. Sànset operates through a licensed UAE entity and treats customer data with the care we'd expect for our own families.
